A whole lot of toppings.

Though I kept mine simple, I do love toppings. It adds a little something extra to the recipe and the eating experience. For this Cinnamon and raisin overnight oats not much is required because it’s really flavourful. However, good toppings in general for overnight oats are walnuts, pecans, toasted sunflower seeds and candied or sliced almonds. You can also try fruit toppings such as apple slices or cubes, ripe bananas, strawberries and mangoes. Blueberries and blackberries can work but they’re not my favourite as they’re not often sweet. If you can get sweet and fresh berries then go for it.

So here is a quick rundown on how to make this recipe. In just 10 minutes you’ll have breakfast ready for the next day. Get a bowl and add your oats, cinnamon, raisins, flaxseed and Chia seed powder blend and sugar. Mix all your dry ingredients together then start adding your wet ingredients. Oat milk, honey, vanilla extract and sweeten to your liking.
